Kari Samantha (born April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actress and performer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three brothers and sisters. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs and hid from the family in order for the sake of performing. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School. Later, she studied drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with famed instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actor, model and singer. She is born a Brookfield resident birthed in Brookfield Connecticut, on the 28th day of April, 1967. She is the daughter of the father of a German American as well as a mother from Germany. Kari's three siblings are all of them. As a teenager her nightclub performances were a highlight by slipping away to take a break. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher known as Uta. Kari was first introduced to acting when she was 13 and got her breakthrough in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
