SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American actress and former model. She played the role of Carmen in the TV show The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS' crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). 2 She was an integral part of the show's main Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and as a character in Alias. [4] In 2018, she was a part of the series Reverie. In 2019, she was in a recurring role in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and appeared in seven episodes of the series The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to move to Hollywood which is where she landed parts in various shows which included Alias and Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. In 2005, she was in the role of supporting actress DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which was part of its second season. Shahi's contract of two years was terminated following the fourth season. The character she played was deleted from the show.
